I’ve started my IVF cycle and have been receiving acupuncture elsewhere. Can I change to the Fertility and IVF Acupuncture clinic?
As a general rule of thumb, the Fertility and IVF Acupuncture Clinic advises you to stick to a practitioner once you have commenced an IVF cycle. Commonly, an acupuncturist will devise a customised plan which will be administered throughout the IVF cycle. It may therefore be not in your best interest to change acupuncturists during the course of your IVF cycle.
We strongly encourage everybody who is considering receiving acupuncture to make sure the acupuncturist they choose makes a commitment to be available. Dr Kirk Wilson from the Fertility and IVF Acupuncture clinic guarantees he will be available on transfer day for those who begin acupuncture from the start of their IVF cycle. Dr Wilson upholds this commitment no matter what day of the week the transfer may fall.
If you have a situation when your acupuncturist can no longer provide treatment, phone the Fertility and IVF Acupuncture clinic and we will see what we can do for you. We strongly suggest you to ask your acupuncturist if they guarantee to open their clinic on a weekend or if they will come into work early to facilitate the acupuncture protocol.
In the past, Dr Wilson has received many requests for acupuncture for IVF transfers on Sundays. Please be aware, at the Fertility and IVF Acupuncture clinic Dr Wilson will not open on Sundays unless you have commenced acupuncture from him since the start of the IVF cycle in question.
